Hollan
about

Hollan is the moniker of 24 year old singer/songwriter, Anna Manotti. Manotti was born and raised in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and grew up with only one dream; to be a musician. As a child, she spent her money buying anything from Alicia Keys to John Denver albums and quickly came to realize that, for her, a well written song is the most important thing. Through years of developing her taste and style, she has landed in the folk scene with lyrics grounding the foundation of every piece. After years of developing her live performances, Manotti released her debut EP, “Ready as the Day,” in October 2019. She has managed to grow her momentum in 2020 as well, releasing two singles; “Wild Man” in the spring and “I’ve Been Alone” in the fall, with each of her releases topping the previous. Throughout her years of playing shows she has performed on both coasts of the U.S., live music venues, weddings, festivals, house shows and city streets alike and has gotten the chance to open for artists such as Tiny Desk features, Lowland Hum, Florist, Buck Meek (of Big Thief) and Twain. Now with a pandemic under her belt, Hollan is preparing to record her first full-length album, anticipating it’s debut in late 2021.
